I have attended three of Nicki’s retreats and our most recent one in El Salvador may be my favorite so far. What I love about Nicki is she stays curious and continues to learn about different movement modalities, like her Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)/mobility certifications, that she then passes onto her students to help us move better, without pain and with more ease. I especially liked the structure of the retreat with a healthy mix of her unique Vinyasa flow, inversions, arm balances and FRC. I experienced some wonderful breakthroughs [in my practice] on the retreat! She always finds wonderful locations too! If you're into non-traditional ways to practice yoga and other forms of movement, lead by an expert in anatomy, in a beautiful location conducive for practicing, and moving with the most incredible group of like minded students, I'd highly recommend considering Nicki's retreats!

I participate in both Flight Club classes and private sessions with Nicki, and I keep coming back for more than just her expertise in movement! What sets her apart is her ability to help you develop a true connection between mind and body. Every exercise and stretch feels intentional. You understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. It makes the lessons much easier to take home and incorporate into a routine. Her sessions have a meditative quality that leaves me feeling stronger, more aware, and more connected to my body!

I had an incredible time on my El Salvador retreat with Nicki. I came away with a much deeper understanding of my own body - not just how it works, but how to strengthen it in ways that will make everyday movement feel easier and help me age well. Nicki is extraordinarily knowledgeable and has a real gift for meeting you where you are, all while keeping things genuinely fun. The beach setting was stunning, and the group she'd drawn together was the kind you hope for but rarely get.... curious, warm, and so easy to connect with. I left feeling stronger, more grounded, and already looking forward to the next one.

I attended my first ever retreat with Nicki and I just loved it!!! I really don't need to write or say more because it was perfect, everything I had expected and it was even better than my mind had made up! She did a great job laying out details prior and getting us prepared well before the retreat was to start. I was joining this retreat for the handstands and beach side accommodation and I was (and still am) soooo pleased with my whole experience. I'm super happy I went on this retreat and I was able to learn sooo many new fun things as a student and as a fellow yoga-teaching-person :) It was such a good investment for my mental health, physical wellbeing and especially I feel like it filled my yoga bank so much it's completely overflowing! Thanks teacher lady!!!!! You're awesome at what you do and I hope I can count on you as a teacher to me forrrr5everrrrrr!!

I do yoga, strength training, HIIT workouts, etc. and while I've always tried to take care of my body, I still dealt with chronic knee and back pain. After just 10 weeks with Nicki, I initially saw so much progress. We've been working together online for over a year now - my back & knee have felt the best they've felt in a very long time, and my body in general feels so much stronger when I'm doing yoga or working out. My main goal outside of finding relief for the pain I had been dealing with, was to create a body that will hold up in old age. And with Nicki and our mobility training, I will accomplish that and more!

I was nervous to go on my first retreat, especially being such a beginner with handstands. Nicki’s Mexico handstand retreat ended up being one of the best experiences I've ever had. The location was amazing and she made sure we were ready with every detail we'd need to know. We were fed some of the most amazing food and went out to great restaurants. The actual practice sessions were some of the most fun I've had doing yoga (and handstands) and I learned so much. I left feeling so confident in myself and my abilities as a yogi and future handstander. I can't wait to be able to go on my next retreat with Nicki!

I've been working one-on-one with Nicki for SEVEN years straight! She's INCREDIBLE! She provides customized sessions, with recommendations for activities to work into the rest of my week. I've made so much progress through our sessions on both mobility and my journey to a free-standing handstand. Our sessions push me when I need it and provide regular motivation to keep working towards my movement goals. Nicki is also a fun and easy partner to work with. She's friendly and fun but still gets down to business! I'm excited to keep working with her for the long run!
