FLIGHT CLUB - HANDSTAND WORKSHOP AT Shakti Power Yoga
SATURDAY JANUARY 10th, 2-4pm
This session offers the perfect opportunity to explore fun inversion shapes + gain new understanding of how your body moves through space. We'll move through skills + drills for wrists, shoulders and core, as well as mini flows to integrate concepts through play. Learn valuable techniques to unlock tricky entries into the classic L shape handstand, as well as tuck + straddle, and train front-body compression necessary for a controlled exit strategy. Walk away with new tools to increase bravery + hangtime, as well as the confidence needed to FLY in 2026!
This session is great for beginner and intermediate practitioners!
A strong plank + no current wrist injuries are prerequisites.
FLIGHT CLUB FLOW - ONCE/MONTH AT Shakti Power Yoga
Thursday January 22nd, 6:15-7:30pm
A 75 minute vinyasa class with handstand + arm balance play woven in. Focus on building body-weight strength, mobility and proprioception for hand balance shapes + fun transitions. Increase fluidity and confidence in learning to FLY! Experience in vinyasa yoga is helpful.

MONTHLY MOBILITY - ONCE/MONTH at The Hot Room
Saturday January 24th, 1-2:15pm
A 75 minute all-levels pop-up class held in a comfortably warm room. This is a unique movement class designed to decrease joint stiffness, increase range of motion, promote fluid movement and support cross-training for your favorite activities. The format differs from that of a yoga class, so no yoga experience is necessary. We will isolate movements specifically for the spine, hips, shoulders, neck, knees + ankles, then integrate with mini flowstates. Joint-specific exercises are rooted in the worldwide accredited Functional Range Conditioning system used by pro athletes across the globe and are incredibly effective at re-training joint spaces to move through their intended ranges of motion. Learn how to alleviate low back + neck tension, improve movement in mid + upper back, and open space in shoulders + hips from all angles. Walk away with a greater understanding of your movement patterns, with exercises to do at home, then return the following month for another mobility class and layer your knowledge to continue improving your quality of movement!
